BERBATOV DREAMS OF BECOMING UNITED MANAGER

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has spoken of his dream of taking over the reins at Manchester United one day after being inspired by current interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Spurs need to strengthen

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Dimitar Berbatov believes that the London team will have to invest in new players if they want to challenge for the title. He said that he has watched the game against Arsenal and believes that Spurs was second best throughout the game. The former Manchester United player said that they even scored against the run of play and they do not deserve to win anything from this game.

He said that Tottenham Hotspur will need to strengthen if they want to win trophies or they risk to fall further behind their rivals. He believes that the club is being hindered by the construction of their new stadium and this is why they have not been able to invest money in new players. He said that it is appearing as if the club does not have the squad to cater for both the Champions League as well as the Premier League and this is why they are struggling at the moment. Dimitar Berbatov Blasts David James

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has responded harshly to claims by David James through an Instagram post. The player posted a picture of himself on a plane heading back to his home country following the end of the Indian Super League season.

Berbatov stars for Kerala Blasters in the league with former Liverpool and Aston Villa goalkeeper James as the coach. The former England international finished his career in India and returned to lead the side from mid-season following the club’s contract termination of Rene Meulensteen.

The Blasters lost due to stoppage time goals by Bengaluru FC after 90 minutes of intense back and forth. At the post match conference, James said it was just that football is cruel for his side to not have gone through. He praised the defence of the opposition as a major factor in the game. The managers believes the strong defence and team spirit of Bengaluru FC can help them break the jinx of league stage winners not going on to be eventual champions of the ISL.
